A message from the WABF Chair

Shahid Azeem
Welcome to the Woking Asian Business Forum (WABF) web site. You can see by going through the accompanying pages that we have clear aims and objectives, targeted at helping the Asian community to better integrate with potential partners and clients, both within the area and the wider region. We are acutely aware of the dangers inherent in our becoming isolated or marginalised so we will be encouraging all members to get involved and to help themselves as well as our community. The aim for us all is increased prosperity in the Woking and surrounding areas.

Our help and support may be particularly appropriate for the younger members of our community, women or girls, but may also be relevant to groups or individuals of any age who may otherwise suffer from having a lack of support, require mentors or practical advice or simply need encouragement in order to have the confidence to make the right decisions at the optimum time.

We have our own clear understanding of how to achieve this. We are also acutely aware that each situation will be highly individual so we are very open to your ideas and suggestions as to how we can best help each individual business scheme or more general approach. We know that with your help we can really improve all our lives as well as those of others in our community and create a far better future for generations yet to come.
